From it I learned about the harmful petrochemicals developed by the cosmetics industry in the golden age of plastics 50 years ago. Sadly, the majority of the ingredients developed then are still in the mainstream skin care products today.

Scientists today know that about 50% of the chemicals applied topically on the skin end up in the bloodstream. There is no excuse that the cosmetics industry has continued to push old, cheap ingredients that are now proven to be toxic.
